The Levain Project began in our kitchen, with a jar of flour and water that we fed every morning until it came alive. That bubbling starter — our levain — is the heart of everything we bake.
We are a home bakery in Dubai, making sourdough the slow way. Every loaf is mixed by hand, fermented overnight, and baked the same day it reaches you. No shortcuts, no commercial yeast, no preservatives — just flour, water, salt, time, and a little patience.
Right now we're baking just for friends and family. We want to learn what you love, how often you'd like fresh bread, and where in Dubai you are — so we can bake the right amount and deliver it warm.
